Fortunately there are quite a few people within this world who want to own and operate their own business. A young man living in Texas has started his own nonprofit organization Houston TX and it is going well. He first got the idea to start this program while living in Atlanta Georgia nearly fifteen years ago.
Rex always enjoyed his job as a Job Counselor for the state of Georgia but he knew that he could take his unique skills even further. It was no surprise that his manager picked him to arrange a community event that would be discussed for years to come. He also knew that a local lawyer and assistant district attorney would be more than happy to help out.
They all visited a local High School within the area which had very eager students who liked to take on a new challenge. Rex and the group really gave a great career performance and the students wanted more of these programs in the future. Luckily the lead counselor was able to talk to Rex about this future endeavor with great pride. The counselor was also in charge of a boys group home.
Over time Rex found himself developing programs for the boys throughout the next four years until he left from Atlanta. During this time he went to live with his sister in Texas and his job was happy to give him a transfer to another company. This was great news for Rex and his family and he would always be grateful for this gesture. Once he was settled in Texas Rex decided to take his program one step further and to have it funded by the government.
In a short period of time he was filling out all of the important paper work to turn this idea into a solid program. He quickly begin to travel around the city in order to tell everyone about the program and all of the qualities it had. He met Mr. Smith who was the lead operator at yet another boys home and he knew that Rex had a very great idea.
The boys were finally able to attend trips to the museum and other places within the state of Texas. For years no one had really taken the time to arrange field trips and other events for them. These young men were truly grateful to Rex and all of the others who became involved.
During this time Rex also found the time to arrange fund raisers which brought in cash that would help provide the trips and other rewards. He knew that he was finally doing something great which would put his name in the newspapers in a very positive way. Employers also wanted to become involved.
The business union would be great for both parties since it was something which really helped the community as a whole. The boys also took the time to visit the local military base and many of the soldiers gave them great advice to help their future. A local school principal purchased audio visual equipment for them which would be used for special presentations. It seemed as though everyone had come through for Rex and they made sure that his program was very successful.
